The Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds (SPEA, BirdLife’s partner for Portugal) promotes research on birds of Portugal and the incredible habitats they depend on. With this in mind, it is essential to reach out to the public to raise awareness of the importance of strengthening their protection. Environmental education is the base to a long-term, healthy, environment.
We actively contribute by sharing and respecting the wildlife we are fortunate enough to encounter on a daily basis.
